Well grown lab grown diamonds look identical to natural diamonds, unlike diamond simulants in the market such as cubic zircon or mossanite. Only advanced machines can detect lab grown diamonds and all certified lab grown diamonds will usually have an inscription on them to say they are lab grown. But just because two things look the same does not mean they are the same. Natural diamonds have a very different heritage and meaning so it really depends on your personal preference.
